The Power of Amazing Grace

In that moment of grace,it feels like the door of ‘heaven’ opens up to allow us a glimpse of that sacredness,goodness within ourselves.It is a time when we are actually touching the inner chamber of the heart(soul,spirit,God,etc…)This is what is meant by the grace-filled moment.It is when we do not run away from the ‘mystical call’ either through the profundity of intense pain or bliss but instead look directly into its compelling mysterious force which could make us act spontaneously with tenderness/softness/gentleness and humility.We surrender to the power of letting go(relinquishing sense of control),allowing what is to be will be and usually act with and in kindness to do something benevolent and beneficial for spiritual evolution(changes) and human betterment(for self and others).This is truly the most beautiful experience on the beginning stage in the journey to find our True Self!

In humility we might fall to our knees simply by hearing a word such as ‘love’,peace’,’kindness’,’God’and be overwhelmed with gratitude.In these moments,the barriers that we have been so conditioned to barricade the heart with might start its shattering process to allow the heart to break completely open and be purified!
We are all being called quietly within,not one human being will be exempted or deprived of this moment of Grace.

In my experience of Grace, I was crying on the plane non-stop during the very long flight from Jeddah,Saudi Arabia back home to Vancouver,Canada (Novemeber 1998) after an incomplete nursing work assignment contract.I was feeling like a failure,worthless and broken,lost in life.Yet I felt a sense of sacred surrendering overcoming me,letting go to the goodness, the humility,the whatever I had to face,to face it with courage and purposeful strength.I could feel my heart breaking,tearing apart immensely which I believed the shattering process of the walls of my heart beginning to crumble down warranting a complete fearless opening to face myself, my True innate Self(flaws and beauty).

It is the power of Grace that gives us the humble strength and courage to lead us home inward into ourselves,to see the truth that for a long time we had been blinded by and to be found in the wisdom to understand how lost we were in the illusory world.

A warm Hello to all,
I am delighted to share with sincere joy of my intention to donate all proceeds of my book titled ‘To Resurrect the True Self’ to a non-profit organization dear to my heart(for a while now) called The Tibetan Nuns Project www.tnp.org
By buying the book,you will be of help both ways,the young girls,elderly women and people of Tibet/India have a place to stay,food to eat and be spiritually/academically educated,as well as you have a book to hopefully keep you nurtured and nourished in intellectual/spiritual knowledge!
I heartfully thank you all for any support you can provide when you buy any format of my book.I undertake this endeavour not for any egoic purpose but for the intention of being a help to support humanity in any way ,the way that I was supported by the Universal Consciousness during my spiritual journey into healing and Self-Realization.

A Heart’s Prayer

To all of us with no separation of culture, religion,
race, or gender; and to all of us who are rich or poor,
happy or sad, educated or uneducated, sick or healthy,
I am one with all and all are one with me.
Within we are the same.

We have a heart with the full capacity to
love, to be of support, and to pray for each other.I pray that we take time to be quiet and listen
to ourselves and our needs spiritually, emotionally,
physically, and mentally.

I pray we be not afraid to ask for what we need for
the good of our spirit and that our hearts may be enriched
with strength, not to be harmed and not to harm.

I pray that we may not feel too vulnerable or weak
to say “I am sorry” or ask forgiveness or forgive with
compassionate understanding.

I pray we strive to find peace and healing in the face
of suffering and pain.

I pray we see the beauty within us and use that
beauty to beautify this world with activities and
creativities of love and peace.

I pray we not look at humility as weakness or
as being losers but instead as having the power and
strength to take the first step to initiate spiritual change.
~~~~~~excerpt from the book To Resurrect the True self, page 135
Over the last few weeks and months,what have we truly witnessed in our lives?Did we see pain and suffering,aggression,hatred and anger,frustrations,anxieties, worries,sickness and perhaps deaths of others,friends,relatives,strangers,maybe people we don’ like?What importance have we been giving so much adulation,attention,focus upon? The world was and is still drawing our energies and human goodness focusing greatly on the political scene and pandemic.Do we not feel tired and drained of suffering itself? What do we truly want or how can we truly find peace in exchange for all the confusion and chaos we are being disturbed with?Can we not for once retreat/relate into and draw within ourselves, into our own beautiful inner being,walk into our spiritual realm and bring out one innate wondrous attribute to share with others or witness in ourselves?Why are we afraid to raise,wake up and live out that inherent beauteous God,Christ, Krishna, Atman, Buddha,Brahman,Universal Consciousness from within ourselves to promote healing, peace and compassion.Why is it that we are not afraid to speak and behave unkindly, crudely, critically,fearfully,judgmentally and ignorantly?
What could we understand a little on the Teachings of Jesus
Understanding a little teaching on Jesus not in a religious point of view but on the human sense.
The story of Jesus, his teachings and the culmination of deep love he displayed towards the end of his life for his friends who were also known as his disciples as well as the whole human creation,touches me in a very poignant way.It is as though, I have come to know him personally.I can imagine myself being in his company while he was celebrating his last days and leaving the fragrance of loving mercy,tenderness and humility to linger on for all of humanity to savor.What does it mean to have been taught to believe and accept Jesus as a saviour?
I have come to fully understand that we cannot simply believe or accept anything that has been taught to us ‘blindly’unless we have diligently discerned,paid attention and deciphered the meaning of the words delivered by any enlightened spiritual Master.Unless we learn to effectively apply the teachings to our own lives and have been tested and tried and experienced deepest grief, heartfelt pain and ecstatic joy without running away(in illusory,temporary escapes).Unless we face all events and consequences to allow every phenomena to teach and transform us positively,we remain saturated only in an external believing status and not rooted inwardly in true experiencing mode.
We each have this Conscience within us,we can call it Christ,Buddha or God Consciousness,it is all the same,all spiritual teachers are pointing directly inwards into our human being as a reminder to wake up to our True Self.Each and every one of us human share the same grieving sadness,the same joyful wonders and potential raising of Consciousness to benefit humanity.We need but the courage to allow ourselves to break down layers of barricades that have blocked our hearts to Love fearlessly and quell the turmoil of our confused and erratic states of mind caused by the many distorted views/ideas,voices/teachings the world has ‘indoctrinated’ us with.
When we sit in Silence with ourselves we listen to only One Voice,the Voice of Divine Conscience that speak only of Truth and Love(always in and for goodness).There is no separation of religion,race,gender,culture,believer or unbeliever of a God,the poor or the rich,saint or terrorist….we are all One,human race and our One True Religion is Love!
We are all on this journey in life to help each other grow as we should be,to be Kind and Humane.So all generations present and future can enjoy the peacefulness of living conditions.Do we want our children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren and so on,to suffer the devastating and foolish ego-centred/maniacal ways of the illusory world?
We can start with ourselves in quiet introspective reflection on what we truly want in Life and of Life for ourselves and for those we say we love/care for.Do we choose selfishness or selflessness to exemplify for others to witness?
Lessons to learn
Everything about this man Jesus, whose teachings I have come to know thru the gospels read in church,thru the new testaments written in the bible and movies and stories about his life,has opened up a stirring and revolution within myself,he helped move me to apply and practice his teachings to my everyday life and learning.
When he said that one has to die in order to be born again ….I understood it to be to die to ego(selfishness),to old familiar habituated patterns of living,foolish reveries and addictions….and so I learned to looked deeply into myself to find answers for the truth and make changes,the doing away of unnecessary and wasteful suffering……
When he said…”when someone slaps you on the right cheek,give the left as well”……I learned from him the meaning of humility and not to retaliate,resist and defend the self from wrongful accusations and injustice.Instead,I learned also to check within myself for a chance to ‘wake-up’ to goodness.
When he said…”when someone asks you for your cloak, give your shirt as well”….I learned that he meant it to be being benevolent,kind and understanding/respectful of and to others and not expect anything back when you give…
When he said ….”blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God”,I have understood that,it is about being honest,sincere and having goodness of intentions in words, thoughts and actions,not trying to fool others or to abuse and take advantage of anyone/anything.And to see God,for me it means to witness our own innate states of beauty,goodness,kindness and truth,our pure luminous conscience and consciousness(awareness).
When he said….”no one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or under the bed but instead puts in on a stand so that others can see”,I learned that we ourselves must be that light so that others might not live in darkness and be in constant stumbling,falling,hurt and to live in unnecessary suffering.
So I allowed him be a teacher of truth, of love and of forgiveness to me;which he taught so prolifically and fearlessly to the people of his time,till today and time eternal.
He walked all over the countryside of Israel during his era joyously, lovingly,teaching and exemplifying mercy/forgiveness,teaching about looking deeply into the self to find love,truth and freedom from suffering.He taught about not looking at the speck of your neighbour’s eye but instead to pull out the log from one’s own eye first.From this significant teaching I had to learn to sit in the company of myself.Painfully,yet slowly, with the knowledge that if I pulled out the ‘log’ in my own eye(Being),I would be ending that which is causing so much pain to myself and outpouring the agony unto others.
Jesus himself had to learn how to go inward into himself,to be alone in the desert, to overcome temptations(illusions of the world),to find himself and the truth and to come face to face with his sufferings and divinity.With the knowledge of finding that truth within himself,he felt compelled to allow the compassion within himself to tirelessly spread, teach and share the healing message of love, charity and forgiveness.
What does the word ‘Love’mean to us when we say it, when we feel it,when we think about it?Do we really have to know Jesus to know love or do we truly have to sit in quiet reflection to know that we are Love.Jesus and other spiritual Masters are all pointing us into that direction of looking into ourselves to witness it.
Humility
“Humility is a sublime virtue
It can bend before the mighty wind
yet arise with courage.
it can bow before a powerful sovereign,
yet remain his equal.
It can be intimidated by the unjust,
yet not be humiliated.
It can be gentle before injury
yet have the strength to forgive.
humility brings the antidote to pride and arrogance and allows the openness to learn and accept!”
Preview of To Resurrect the True Self
Here is a preview and glimpse of having an understanding into what this heartfelt spiritually surrendered book might be about.Thank you for your time and support.Feel free to share if you like.
Watching Ourselves
We can be creators of loving-kindness,benevolence,respect,truth,selflessness and understanding.
We can choose to destroy selfishness,unkindness,resentments,anger,disrecpect and greed.
We can restore harmony into our lives and the lives of others
All we need is the tool of practicing Self-Awareness!
It is so easy,wherever we are, whomever we are with,however we are, in whatever we are doing,right here and now…..we can practice watching ourselves,being mindful and aware.
One small random act of kindness can help encourage and disseminate the uplifting of Human Consciousness which brings spiritual healing and courage.Fear on the other hand limits and traps us in a realm of meaninglessness.
