Looking for God Within

When we abide in Truth,in the Freedom to live authentically,joyfully,guilt free,unashamed to be True to ourselves with prudent fearlessness……..then we open up the path Inward to the Divine Wisdom and heavenly treasures of Love and Joy that are awaiting Within.

When we want to be kept continuously confused, agitated/ignorant,constantly disillusioned,divided and fragmented between the restless mind and the wise loving heart,then we look outside of the self and believe in the illusory voice of the world.

Luke chapter 17:verse 20-21(King James Version)

“And when Jesus was demanded of the Pharisees, when will the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

We keep wandering aimlessly on the surface,we are told to believe in this and that,to not do/to do this and that.We have been conditioned and have set limitations for ourselves far too long in listening to the opinions, beliefs,ideologies of those we give authority and adulation to without experiencing firsthand of the truth that the others are saying.But here in the gospel of Luke,Jesus is giving straight directions to look deep within the self for the truth and the wonders of Love,Wisdom and Joy.He is also implying that we cannot find God(Truth,Love,Consciousness) or even happiness either from mere believing in the here and there or anywhere outside of the self….it is only to be found Within!

This is a profound teaching of Jesus and all enlightened teachers of truth,a universal message meant for all beings.

Mind,Body and Spirit

When the mind is silenced,the heart(spirit) fully awakes and the body is animated to act in Truth and Loving-kindness.The limitations, divisiveness,confusions and self-centred attributes of ego is slowly dissolved through the unconditioned actions of Love and thus God(Pure Consciousness) is finally discovered and attained!

This attainment of God is not exclusive to anyone in any particular religious tradition or who only believes/speaks of god but is innate in the core of everyone,of every human being! And everyone is entitled to enjoy that Divine state of being.It is up to each one of their choice and free-will to focus and pay attention to what calls to the heart at each moment…….the world or to God(Love,Consciousness,Truth,Spiritual awakening,etc.)?There is no right or wrong,good or bad in any path we make/take for we are all learning and evolving to eventually merge to that Universal Consciousness(Oneness).

To walk the path of the world,there is no need for a teacher to show the myriad of activities that titillate the senses and sense pleasures….we are already on that path!We can reflect on this and see what this path has done or where is it leading us to?To reflect the meaning of Life?

But to walk the path to God, we do need a teacher/s to show the way of Truth,to learn disciplines and practices to tame the tormented mind and afflicted states,to centre the heart and exercise the body for sacred/humane purposes.These are ways that not many will choose as a way of living……meditation,self-inquiry and asking for answers(from reliable sources),being mindful(awareness),breathing techniques,chanting,sitting in quiet times of self introspection(reflection),charitable deeds and compassionate actions(to oneself and others),perhaps joining a spiritual community,listening to spiritual talks and words of wisdom, respecting and encouraging support for those who are doing works that help raise consciousness and humanitarian actions,reading books that speak of wisdom/truth,appreciating and gratitude for all goodness,etc.

We are the True Shining Star

In the time of Jesus, there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus who came to Jesus in the night and asked,”how can a man be born when he is old?”Jesus replied,”I tell you the truth,no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is Born again.”~~~~ Gospel of John chapter 3:verse 3 New International Version~~~~~

Silent night,Holy nightAll is calm,all is bright!Sleep in Heavenly Peace!

Within the silence of each our minds and hearts, a sublime revolution is taking place.Within the womb of our being,male or female,we are each pregnant with Divine Love.We await the Birth of the Christ/God Consciousness or in Buddhism the Buddha Nature.In this Birth, The True Self and Luminous Awareness become the Bright Shining Star projecting from the depths of our Being out into the world for all to see!We truly rest in Heavenly Peace in the knowledge of our True Nature that awaits to be born anew…

So how are we to be born again as Jesus had said so that we may see that kingdom of God?___

___when we change,transform from the old habituated self/unwholesome life patterns___

___when we die to selfishness/egocentric identification into selflessness and virtuous practices___

___when we awake from unconsciousness(ignorance) into Consciousness(Awareness)

___when we remove the blindfolds of falsehood and fearfulness to courageously live in the Light of Truth___

___when we cease following the crowd and walk through the narrow gate inwardly into the self____

There is no other kingdom of Heaven/God(somewhere in the future or destination) but the only one we each carry within ourselves Now in this very moment,yes we can give birth potentially to be the Light of Love to offer as our gift to the world!

Spend a silent time with ourselves in sacred wonder!

Peace and positive changes begin with each of us!The world is changing,the world is being blessed with so much gifts and bestowment of graciousness despite all the chaos that is happening and has happened.

Within each of us,if we dare to look deeply and truthfully,we find that we are spiritually evolving…we cannot remain the same, untouched,unmoved or stuck in a negative way permanently.

Every moment, truth and goodness are surfacing awaiting for us to act upon.We are the True Bright Shining Star that the world needs for healing and peaceful resolutions….we start with each of us opening up to live in the awareness of love and kindness in our own lives,in our family, in our society,thus permeating and radiating out to the world!

Christians and non-Christians alike we count-down to this special day called Christmas—The story of a very physically pregnant Mary,her betrothed named Joseph and their travel to a town called Bethlehem in Israel.How they faced hardships,humility, rejections and various anxieties on their journey…to eventually joyfully give birth to a boy child who would bring Light to the world through his enlightened teachings.

Are we honestly counting down to merely enjoy ourselves in the festivities of Christmas or is there a a deeper truth waiting to give birth?
